Where it all began…

Dylan grew up in Te Awanga, spending his days biking the neighbourhood, fishing, and catching eels down at the creek, a classic Hawke’s Bay upbringing that shaped his down‑to‑earth approach to work and people.

He later moved to Auckland, where he began his electrical career with a small family‑owned business before returning home to gain experience with a large, well‑known company.

In 2022, he took the leap and launched DB Electrical, a move that quickly proved the right one. Today, Dylan brings together years of hands‑on expertise with a commitment to good service.

The best part of the job for him is meeting people, building long‑term connections, and leaving every client happy with a job done right.

When the tools are down, Dylan makes the most of life. You’ll usually find him at the beach or river, camping in summer, fishing or whitebaiting, tinkering in the shed, or whipping up a meal on the barbecue to share with family and friends.
